Tech Hub Resources
The 3C2A Tech Hub portal is an online tool to assist institutions with compliance with 3C2A legislation. Phase 2.0 of the project is underway as of summer 2025, which includes student-athletes and head coaches establishing portal accounts.
Please review the resources below to assist with commonly asked questions and updated training materials.

Announcements (Updated 10/23/25)
The Beginning of Season Submission Process is now LIVE effective Monday, Oct. 13th. All student-athletes who were approved through the Temporary Certification process will need to be launched via the Beginning of Season Submission workflow in the Tech Hub. This is an important step to ensure we are ready for End of Season eligibility submissions later this fall.

Action Item Required
- Launch ALL the Student-Athletes for Fall Sports & Basketball who were approved by the Temporary Certification process (paper) in the Tech Hub via the Beginning of Season Submission Process. Tech Hub 2.0: ES/AD Initiating Beginning of Season Submission Process

- Alert your Head Coaches to not remove student-athletes who were approved via the paper process!
- Even if these SA’s have been cut, quit or left the college they were approved to be on the Roster/Form 3 and need to be launched via the online Tech Hub process now that it’s LIVE!
- If a Head Coach removes a SA in error the ES/AD can resubmit the SA using the following new user guide: Tech Hub 2.0: Head Coach Removes SA & How to Resubmit the SA for Approval
- Alert your Head Coaches to not remove student-athletes who were approved via the paper process!
- Monitoring Approvals of Roster/Form 3’s – Utilize the following chart for Verification Status Types by eligibility certification decisions.
- Commissioner Requests Review – Please be sure to check out this user guide when a request for review is sent by the Commissioner. Under Construction for 2025-26 – As of 10/23/25
We are working on building and testing a handful of items for the new Tech Hub 2.0 Portal environment. The below list is not all encompassing and we will be sending out email updates, publishing user guides, scheduling webinar trainings in the days ahead to roll out these new items.
- End of Season Submission - Coming Soon!
- Reports – Due to all the changes the reports are not populating correctly.
- Tracking Adjustment Requests sent to the student-athletes (SA).
- Previous Seasons of Competition as of 2025-26 – We are working on developing this data set to include prior seasons used outside of the 3C2A, within the 3C2A, appeals granted and dropped sports as they impact this data set.
Commonly Asked Questions: Tech Hub 2.0
Question: Why can’t I find a returning student-athlete who filled out a Form 1 on my Roster?
Answer: Many times, it’s because the student-athlete filled out a Form 1 as if they were a new student-athlete. The returners must follow the instructions online to establish a Tech Hub account, login and submit a short Form 1 as a returner. They will then populate on your Roster/Form 3 once they successfully complete these steps.
Question: My student-athlete is not getting the email to establish their Tech Hub account (e.g., password reset email from Salesforce)?
Answer: It can be for any of the following reasons: 1) Email in-box is full. 2) They are using a different email address from before, please check your Global Search to see their email address. 3) They are typing in their information incorrectly, so the system is not matching them. 4) Email the Tech Hub email address the SA’s name, sport and email address we can update it or resend out the reset password email manually.
Head Coach Portal Accounts – Under construction, please alert head coaches they are approving student-athletes via the temporary process outlined below.
Student-Athletes – They didn’t receive an email to establish their portal account? Help!
- Did the student-athlete click the “Next” button to generate the email. This is the mostly commonly occurring issue we are finding after they have been matched as a returning student-athlete.
- New student-athletes completing the online Form 1 and not logging into to the Tech Hub Portal. Please watch them take this step!
Eligibility Specialists/Athletic Directors – What can we edit in the system verses the student-athletes? See below list for guidance before reaching out to the Tech Hub email for assistance.
Student-Athletes can update the following fields in their My Profile of the Tech Hub Portal:
- Preferred Name,
- Student ID number,
- Race/Ethnicity,
- Phone number,
- Email address,
- Housing information
Student-Athletes can update the following fields in these additional areas of the Tech Hub Portal:
- Enrollment at a 3C2A College (My Enrollment Tile),
- Sports Participation: History of participation (Sports Participation Tile), and
- Life Experiences: Gaps of enrollment information (Life Experience Tile).
The College ES/AD can update the following fields within the SA profile page (within Rosters/Form 3 > Student-Athlete/Form 1 – Click Certify Student hyperlink):
- Student ID,
- DOB,
- High School Attended information,
- Current College information,
- Life Experiences (e.g., Employment, Unemployment, Armed Services, Church Mission, Other/Unknown),
- Sports History (Sports Participation).
- Name corrections -- Go to Student-Athlete > My Student-Athletes > search for the SA by name, click on Access Student hyperlink. Click on the pencil icon to edit.
The College ES/AD can request a Student-Athlete make an adjustment to the following items via the Tech Hub:
- Felony Disclosure Response,
- NIL Authorization,
- Professional Sport Question,
- Sports Participation and
- Life Experience.
College ES/AD cannot currently update the following areas of the system and can contact the Tech Hub for assistance.
- Form 1 Response data (e.g., phone number, email addresses, current address).

Student-Athletes Form 1 - New 7/9/25
The following user guides are to be used when conducting eligibility meetings with 3C2A student-athletes to complete their eligibility online Form 1. We strongly encourage colleges to break up their meetings by the following groups: Group 1) First-time College Students + New Transfers students; Group 2) Returning 3C2A Student-Athletes either to your college or a 3C2A Transfer.
Student-Athletes will establish 3C2A Tech Hub Portal Accounts, their username will be their personal email, and they will be prompted to establish a password. Please watch the following recorded training on Tech Hub 2.0 enhancements + new online Form 1 process before conducting your first eligibility meeting. The Canva slides are also available here.

Eligibility Processes
Note, in the new system institutions will no longer data enter student-athlete information. The student-athletes information comes from their completion of the online Form 1 and auto populates to the new online Form 3 of sports that the institution have activated in the Sports Offered section of the portal.
