Zack Hastings & Naomi Jenkins Earn Week Two CCCWPCA Player of the Week Honors

Hastings led the Jaguars to a 3-1 weekend by scoring a state-high 24 goals and pocketing seven steals. He was held to just two goals in a loss to No. 3 Cuesta, but exploded for a combined 22 goals in wins over Fullerton, El Camino and Rio Hondo. Highlighting his efforts was a nine-goal game versus El Camino, backed by an eight score game against Rio Hondo. Furthermore, he facilitated the scoring by dishing out seven assists; two each in three of the four games.

Jenkins played a well-rounded weekend at the West Valley Invitational this past weekend. She scored 15 goals, recorded 17 steals, lofted up one assists and drew a pair of ejections.
