Grace Smith & Brandon Fabrega Named CCCWPCA Athletes of the Week
Brandon Fabrega
Mt. San Antonio College Mounties
Fabrega currently leads the state in scoring after the first nine games of play this season. He has scored at least one goal in every contest highlighted by two eight-game goals against Salem University and Riverside. He ranks third in the state with 42 points and has tallied 22 steals, eight drawn ejections and eight steals.

West Valley College Vikings
Smith was dynamic between the pipes as seen in 48 total saves leading the West Valley College Vikings to a 4-0 start. In each of the four games, she recorded 11 or more saves including a 13-game save clip in a victory over Santa Barbara. In two of the four wins, she held her opponents scoreless in a 20-0 win over Santa Monica and a 16-0 win over Cerritos to begin the season. She is tied for third in the state in saves and is tied for first with four wins.
