Continuing their run toward a perfect season, the Mt. San Antonio College wrestling team defeated Fresno City College, 32-12 for the CCCAA Team Dual State Championship on Sunday in Fresno. The Mounties, who are now 13-0 on the season, have also finished in first place in all five tournaments in which they have competed on the year. The dual meet title was the first for the Mounties since 2015 and third in school history.
"I am really proud of the work our guys have put in the past two years to get this championship," said Mounties head coach David Rivera. "We could not have done it without the support our college has provided during these past few years, which has allowed us to continue the dreams of our wrestlers."
