College of San Mateo is No. 1 in CCCSIA poll while Riverside City is tops in JC Athletic Bureau ranking
SAN MATEO - College of San Mateo is the new leader – by a single point – in this week's poll of California Community College football coaches, conducted by the JC Athletic Bureau. CSM garnered 269 points and six first place votes from coaches while Riverside City College had five top ballots and 268 points. Both teams had important wins over unbeaten foes to close out non-league play with 5-0 records. Modesto holds down the No. 3 spot with College of the Canyons and City College of San Francisco tied for fourth.
Three teams each moved up one position to complete this week's JCAB top top five. Saddleback, also 5-0, is No. 3 after getting past Mt.
