After scoring 52 runs in a three-game sweep over West Los Angeles College that included a 19-2 win over the host Wildcats Saturday, the GCC Baseball Team improved to 3-0 in the WSC South and 14-5 overall and is in a tie for first place in the division.

Now ranked No. 5 in the CCCBC Poll, the Vaqs were led to the victory Saturday by the hitting of Will Cheatham who had three hits, three RBI, scored twice and had a triple and Artin Biageylan and Alex Mills who had two hits each, two runs scored and two RBI. Relief pitcher Cooper Haseley got the win in support of starting pitcher Kenji Pallares.

Glendale hits the road this week for two of three WSC South games at Bakersfield, Tuesday March 15 at 2:30 pm and Saturday March 19 at 1 pm. Glendale hosts the Renegades Thursday March 17 at 2;30 pm at Stengel Field.
