CCSF runs past Hawks
LPC fell behind by 12 points after the first quarter and never caught up, losing 83-56 to City College of San Francisco in a Coast Conference North Division game in the City.
The Hawks' fourth straight loss dropped their overall record to 12-9 and their conference record to 1-4. CCSF, meanwhile, which is ranked #2 in Northern California, improved to 19-3 and 5-0. The Rams have won 8 games in a row.
Erika Duarte led LPC in scoring with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Brianna Gay had 13 points, and Cayla Nava added 10.
The Hawks trailed 23-11 after one quarter, and their deficit grew to 46-23 at halftime.
LPC's next game is Jan. 27 at 5 p.m. against Skyline in Livermore.
